The Ochsner Journal is a quarterly publication designed to support Ochsner Clinic and Hospital's mission to improve public health through a commitment to medical innovation, research, and education. Developed in 1998, the Journal provides a wide range of peer-reviewed, relevant, practically useful information to practicing physicians, health care professionals, and physicians in training. We present information of practical value to physicians on the front line of the health care industry through feature articles, reviews, editorials, clinical algorithms, and a number of focused sections giving special emphasis to subjects of great societal and medical significance. One of the Journal's major focal points is the sharing of the results of Ochsner's programs in population medicine and health outcomes for health care delivery.
