Dr. Prakash is Head of the Laboratory of Molecular Oncology at the Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation and Associate Professor (conjoint) in the Departments of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology and Microbiology Immunology & Parasitology at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. His main research interest is in the molecular mechanisms of HIV pathogenesis.
Dr. Pankey is Director of Infectious Diseases Research at the Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation. He was formerly Head of the Section on Infectious Diseases of the Ochsner Clinic. His main research interest concerns novel approaches to therapy for antimicrobial resistance.
