Accreditation Statement

Ochsner Clinic Foundation is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Designation Statement

Ochsner Clinic Foundation designates this educational activity for a maximum of 5 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Overall Objective

On completion of this issue of The Ochsner Journal, the reader should be able to access recent medical concepts developed in research and summarize their possible clinical implications on healthcare. The reader should also be able to use these articles as an educational resource for advanced study.
