2015, Rheumatology: Sixth EditionNew-onset lupus nephritis in a kidney transplant recipient with cystinosis-differential diagnosis with cysteamine-induced lupus: Case report
2011, Transplantation ProceedingsCitation Excerpt :DIL shares part of the classic symptoms and laboratory characteristics of SLE; however, several characteristics of SLE are usually absent in DIL, particularly nephritis. The renal disease on DIL is most often due to a necrotizing glomerulonephritis with little or no immune complex deposition,10,11 although an immune complex-mediated glomerulonephritis can occur.12 On the other hand, antihistone antibodies are present in over 95% of cases and are considered characteristic.
