Sinus tarsi syndrome

J La State Med Soc. 2001 Sep;153(9):458-61.

Abstract

The sinus tarsi syndrome is predominately a clinical diagnosis deduced through the use of physical examination and history. However, the presumed diagnosis can be corroborated through the use of imaging studies, predominately magnetic resonance imaging. Magnetic resonance imaging is an indispensable tool in the evaluation of musculoskeletal pathology, including the sinus tarsi syndrome.
