Dr. Waldron is originally from South Jersey. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Johns Hopkins University and earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey — Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. After completing his internship and residency in Orthopedic Surgery at University Hospitals of Cleveland - Case Western Reserve University, Dr. Waldron went on to complete a Pediatric Orthopedic Fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. He has been at Ochsner for Children for over 10 years, working in the pediatric orthopedic department.
Dr. Waldron’s research interests include juvenile osteochondritis dissecans of the knee and patellar instability of the knee. Professional society memberships include the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America, Pediatric Research in Sports Medicine Society, and the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine. He is a Senior Lecturer for the University of Queensland - Ochsner Clinical School and is the clerkship director for the surgical specialties rotation. Dr. Waldron is married with 2 daughters, aged 2 and 6.
